Yeah, I'm in Michigan, they hand out registrations and titles without so much as a blink of the eye.

At one point they were going to start inspecting, they even built a bunch of inspection stations, but then somehow the project died and no-one has ever spoke of it since.... I think.

I see oxygen sensor bungs before and after where the factory cat would be. So...catless will probably throw a code.

If he lives somewhere where emissions testing consists of a quick OBD2 scan to make sure there's no codes, then an O2 sensor simulator might be in order.

I'll see how this sounds, I don't want to fuck up the way my car sounds, which can be very easy to do with a V6. I'll take it one step at a time. I also hear cars w/o any cat can smell quite bad.

I may eventually get a high-flow cat in place of the 3rd one.

Oh i think cars without cats smell great! My friends bronco only has mufflers and it sounds and smells great. IMO
